Gilsoft R.I.P.

Founded in the early 1980's to sell computer software, initially for the Sinclair ZX81 and ZX Spectrum, it went on to sell computer software for a large number of machines.  It is probably best known for the Adventure Creation tools Quill, Illustrator (+ addons) and their successor PAWS which in their turn were used to write thousands of games - many released commercially.  For a bit of background you can find and interview with me (Tim Gilberts) here:
